Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during my very first clinical physiotherapy session?

The opening visit focuses on evaluating your history and physical function to identify the source of discomfort. From there, we develop a unique rehabilitation strategy that aligns perfectly with your personal health objectives.

What is the duration of an appointment and the total price?

Assessments typically span 45 to 60 minutes, while follow-ups range from 30 to 45 minutes. Our clinic prioritizes clear communication regarding fees; current pricing for all treatments is found on our Services page or when booking.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement. This helps us easily access the specific area being assessed or treated during your session while ensuring you remain fully comfortable throughout the process. It is likely we will need to see the area in question so please wear apprpriate clothing. If this is not something you are comfortable with then we can work around it.

Is a referral from a doctor required before I schedule here?

Direct booking is available without a GP note for private care. If you plan to claim through private health insurance, please verify their specific policy first, as some insurers require a referral to process your reimbursement.

When is it necessary to seek emergency care over physiotherapy?

If you notice a sudden loss of bowel or bladder function, numbness in your saddle region, or severe pain with a fever, please bypass the clinic and contact emergency services or 111 immediately for urgent medical support.
